Mitiga International Airport prepares for Air Cairo flight resumption

This visit was part of the final preparations for the resumption of flights between Cairo and Mitiga airports. The airport administration stated that the visit included a comprehensive meeting with the airport's General Manager and Deputy, along with directors of relevant departments and security officials. During the meeting, all operational and technical procedures were reviewed to ensure the airport's full readiness.

The discussions concluded with an emphasis on meeting all necessary requirements to facilitate the resumption of direct flights, ensuring safe and smooth operations, and providing optimal services to passengers. Air Cairo, a low-cost subsidiary 60% owned by EgyptAir, focuses on regional, charter, and short-haul flights to the Middle East and Europe, offering lower prices and often utilizing Terminal 1, while EgyptAir handles longer international routes with full-service offerings.
