Manchester City targets Iliman Ndiaye in potential player exchange deal

This interest comes after the departures of Savinho and Omar Marmoush to Tottenham. Ndiaye, 26, has scored 15 goals in the Premier League over his first two seasons with Everton. The English champions are exploring options to bolster their attack, even after securing Brazilian winger Allan from Palmeiras for approximately 32 million pounds sterling.

The deal for Ndiaye is complex, as he is under contract with Everton until 2029, and the Liverpool club is not obligated to sell him. British media estimate Ndiaye's value could reach 70 to 80 million pounds sterling. Everton is reluctant to part with the player, who has become a key figure for manager David Moyes.

Ndiaye has also reportedly rejected several contract extension offers from Everton, partly due to disagreements over a potential release clause. A notable aspect of this potential transfer involves Jack Grealish, who was on loan at Everton last season. Manchester City might consider including Grealish in discussions for Ndiaye, as Grealish, 30, is reportedly keen to return to Everton.
