Moroccan forwards Begraoui and Bentayeb attract European club interest
Moroccan striker Yanis Begraoui, who scored 20 goals for Estoril last season, is reportedly a target for Lazio as the Italian club seeks to strengthen its offense. Estoril Praia is reportedly seeking at least 12 million euros for the 25-year-old, who is under contract until June 2028. His former club, Toulouse FC, holds a sell-on percentage from his transfer to Portugal. Meanwhile, Belgian club Anderlecht is reportedly close to signing Tawfik Bentayeb, a 24-year-old Moroccan forward from US Touarga. Bentayeb had a productive loan spell with ESTAC Troyes in French Ligue 2, scoring 18 goals in 28 appearances. Across two loan seasons in France, he accumulated 28 goals in 57 matches. Anderlecht and US Touarga have reportedly agreed on a transfer fee of approximately 4.5 million euros. These potential transfers highlight the growing demand for Moroccan attackers in the European market as the summer transfer window nears its close.
