National Assembly member calls for First Ladies to declare assets

Samb questioned the origin of funds distributed by some individuals who previously had limited means, suggesting that explanations and transparency are needed. She also raised the possibility of certain individuals acting as fronts to conceal assets. The National Assembly member from Saint-Louis emphasized that the mandate belongs to the people and that public resource management must be transparent and accountable, stating that these concerns transcend political divisions and relate to taxpayer money.
