Samsung Innovation Campus program launched in Libya to develop youth skills in artificial intelligence
The Samsung Innovation Campus SIC program was launched in Libya on August 12, under the supervision of the Tripoli-based Libyan Office of the Minister of State for Digital Economy and Artificial Intelligence. This global training initiative aims to develop youth skills and qualify them in artificial intelligence and programming through a training track that includes applied projects guided by experts. Successful participants will receive a certificate from Samsung. The program received 4,193 applications, with 155 participants selected: 97 males 63% and 58 females 37%. This initiative is part of a broader effort to invest in human capital, build national capabilities, and foster collaboration with global technology companies. It supports the objectives of the National Artificial Intelligence Strategy 2026–2030 by enhancing digital skills, qualifying national talent, and strengthening partnerships with the private sector and global technology companies, aligning with the Tripoli government's directives and the Prime Minister’s commitment to youth empowerment.
