Ismaïla Madior Fall to appear before the High Court of Justice on July 21 over corruption charges

This hearing follows an order from the High Court of Justice's investigative commission in January, which found sufficient evidence to refer his case to the court. The Supreme Court's First President, Mouhamadou Mansour Mbaye, has scheduled the trial for July 21. An important aspect of the trial could be the testimony of Cheikh Guèye, who claims to have given 50 million CFA francs to Ismaïla Madior Fall.

Guèye, who was also indicted in the same case by the investigating judge of Pikine, may be called as a witness to provide clarity to the High Court judges.
