They will compete against host nation champions Gaborone United Ladies, Zambia鈥檚 ZESCO Ndola Girls, and Lesotho Defence Force. Gaborone United Ladies will be looking to defend their title on home turf, while ZESCO Ndola Girls were finalists in the previous year. Lesotho Defence Force brings prior continental experience to the group.
This marks Herentals Queens' third appearance in the competition; their best performance was reaching the semi-finals in 2024, where they were defeated by Gaborone United. Group B features two-time continental champions Mamelodi Sundowns of South Africa, alongside Eswatini鈥檚 Nsingizini Hotspurs, Mozambique鈥檚 Costa do Sol, and Malawi鈥檚 Silver Strikers. Only the top two teams from each group will advance to the semi-finals, with the overall tournament winner securing Southern Africa鈥檚 single spot in the CAF Women鈥檚 Champions League finals later this year.
