Helicopter crashes near Mt Ololokwe in Samburu, multiple fatalities feared

Ololokwe in Samburu County on Wednesday, August 19. Several people are feared dead, with eyewitnesses reporting a large plume of smoke and a spreading fire at the scene. The chopper, based at Loisaba, had picked up clients from Suiyan who were booked by End Beyond Safaris.

Residents and members of the public from the surrounding area began moving to the crash site to offer assistance.
