The Kessben Group of Companies has officially announced the passing of its founder, President, and Chief Executive Officer, Lawyer Stephen Boateng, also known as Kwabena Kesse or Kessben. According to a statement released by the management on Thursday, August 20, 2026, Mr. Boateng died on Wednesday, August 19, 2026, in Kumasi after a brief illness. His death has deeply affected the Kessben Group, his family, friends, and associates. The statement described his passing as a "tragic loss" and offered condolences to his family, church, the legal community, and his wider network. Mr. Boateng founded numerous businesses under the Kessben Group, including Kessben Media, Kessben Travel and Tours Limited, Fosuah Hotel Limited, Kessben Driving School Limited, Kessben Shipping and Freight Forwarding Limited, Aseda Clinic Limited, Transit World Limited, Aseda Insurance Brokerage Limited, and Kessben University College.
