Gabon and Fortescue discuss Belinga project in Perth, focusing on economic diversification and local development

The meeting focused on the future of the Belinga project, its progress, investments, and economic prospects for Gabon's economic diversification. Discussions covered the development of an iron ore industry in Gabon and a sustainable partnership for shared value benefiting local populations. Fortescue Belinga, the group's Gabonese subsidiary, has been conducting exploration and work at the Belinga and Batouala sites in Ogooué-Ivindo province for three years.
