Senator Abdul’aziz Yari, Director-General of the All Progressives Congress Presidential Campaign Council, has assured Nigerians that the ruling party will honor its campaign promises made during the 2023 presidential election. Speaking upon his arrival at Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport in Abuja, Yari stated the APC's commitment to delivering on its pledges as it prepares for President Bola Tinubu's re-election bid in 2027. He emphasized that the party stands by its word and expressed confidence in Tinubu's leadership. Yari, who represents Zamfara West Senatorial District, noted that the reception he received from party supporters indicated their trust in President Tinubu and the APC. He urged continued support for the president and the party, reiterating that the APC aims to fulfill all its campaign promises. Yari also expressed optimism that the APC would remain in power beyond Tinubu’s second term and called on party members to work towards strengthening its position nationwide. His appointment as Director-General was announced recently, bringing his experience as a former governor of Zamfara State and chairman of the Nigeria Governors’ Forum to the campaign. His role will involve coordinating the presidential campaign, mobilizing party structures, and presenting the administration's achievements to voters.
