Fifth armed drone strikes diesel tank at Zawia Oil Refinery
The National Oil Corporation NOC reported that a fifth armed drone struck diesel tank No. 4-4 at the Zawia Oil Refinery. This incident occurred on Tuesday evening, breaching the tank's roof and igniting a fire that emergency and safety teams successfully contained. This attack followed the resumption of refinery operations after a previous shutdown due to similar assaults. Earlier on Tuesday morning, a fourth attack targeted diesel tank 2-4, also causing a fire that was contained without casualties. The NOC assured citizens that fuel supplies remain unaffected, with daily required quantities being met and fuel stations operating on schedule. The corporation confirmed that fuel stocks are intact, urging against overcrowding at gas stations as supply operations will continue without interruption.
