Federal Government unveils Almajiri education reform, bans street begging

This policy, recently approved by the Federal Ministry of Education, aims to reform Nigeria's traditional Qur’anic education system by integrating compulsory literacy, numeracy, digital education, and vocational skills. Key provisions include mandatory registration for all Almajiri learning centers, biometric capture of learners, and nationally recognized certification for graduates.
