Egypt's National Shipping Company receives two 82,000-ton bulk carriers from Chinese shipyard

These vessels, each with an 82,000-ton deadweight capacity, are 229 meters long and 32.26 meters wide. They are designed with advanced technologies for fuel efficiency and reduced emissions, featuring a MAN B&W main engine and a Selective Catalytic Reduction system. The ships also include ballast water management systems to protect marine environments and integrated navigation and communication equipment.

Each vessel can operate for up to 90 days without refueling, thanks to a 2,054 cubic meter fuel capacity, and is equipped with a seawater desalination plant producing 20 tons of fresh water daily. This acquisition aims to modernize Egypt's commercial fleet and boost its competitiveness in global markets.
