Egypt seeks international partnerships to expand data centers and AI, says Minister

The country aims to become a regional hub for the data center industry. During a meeting with a delegation from Hikada Data and a US consortium of data center developers, Minister Hindi emphasized that the government welcomes high-quality investments that facilitate the transfer and localization of advanced technologies. These investments are intended to support the development of an integrated data center and artificial intelligence ecosystem for Egypt, as well as regional and international markets.

The expansion of the data center industry is expected to boost the competitiveness of the Egyptian economy and attract further technological investments, driven by the growing demand for digital infrastructure due to the rapid growth of artificial intelligence applications.
