Hilton to open 140-room Harare hotel by 2029

Global hospitality company Hilton is scheduled to enter Zimbabwe's hotel market for the first time, with plans to open a 140-room Hilton Garden Inn in Harare's Highlands Precinct by early 2029. This development follows Zimbabwe recording over 1.7 million international tourist arrivals in 2025. Hilton cited growing demand from both business and leisure travelers as a key opportunity in the market.
