Pathé Ciss refuses to train with Rayo Vallecano amid transfer dispute
Senegalese international Pathé Ciss, 32, has refused to train with Rayo Vallecano, escalating his efforts to secure a transfer. This marks the third time the midfielder has sought to leave the club. Two years ago, a move to Lyon fell through, and last year, the club president reportedly blocked offers deemed too low. Ciss, a starter in the first two Liga matches, did not join his teammates for collective training on Monday, a move reported by journalist Pablo Villa of Marca. Ciss is reportedly frustrated with the club's consistent refusal to consider offers from teams like Besiktas, Al-Shabab, and other Spanish clubs. With the transfer window closing on September 1, Ciss is employing this tactic to force a departure from Rayo Vallecano.
