Morocco to host the U17 Africa Cup of Nations in April and May 2027, CAF announces
The Confederation of African Football CAF has announced that Morocco will host the U17 Africa Cup of Nations in April and May 2027. This decision is part of CAF's strategy to develop football through significant advancements in youth competitions. Additionally, Ghana will host the U20 Africa Cup of Nations in February and March 2027, and Egypt will organize the U23 Africa Cup of Nations in 2027, which will serve as a qualifier for the Los Angeles 2028 Olympic Games. CAF is also exploring the creation of a new U17 Women's Africa Cup of Nations, aiming to launch it next year if sporting and organizational conditions are met, to further invest in women's football. Morocco will also host the Futsal Africa Cup of Nations 2026 from October 12 to 21, and Senegal will host the Beach Soccer Africa Cup of Nations 2026 in November.
