SADC mission finds Zambia's electoral process transparent despite incidents
Samuel Tembenu, head of the SADC Electoral Observation Mission SEOM, stated that Zambia's electoral process was transparent and largely adhered to established procedures. The mission noted that the elections were conducted in line with the country's electoral framework. Despite a few reported incidents of violence and harassment, the overall process was deemed compliant. However, the SEOM identified areas that require attention to further strengthen future elections in Zambia.
