Tripoli government assures ample petrol supply amid ongoing queues
Libya's Tripoli-based Ministry of Interior has confirmed the availability of sufficient petrol supplies, urging citizens to avoid crowding at stations despite continued queues. The Ministry announced that an oil tanker carrying approximately 40 million liters of petrol has arrived at Tripoli port, with distribution to stations expected around the clock. Another tanker with a similar 40 million-liter shipment is scheduled to arrive soon to further bolster reserves and ensure continuous distribution. The Ministry emphasized that fuel pumping and distribution will operate 24/7 and called on citizens to avoid congestion. Security Directorates have been tasked with securing petrol stations and regulating traffic to reduce congestion and ensure smooth vehicle flow.
