Zifa mourns Highlanders executives killed in road accident
The Zimbabwe Football Association Zifa is mourning the deaths of Highlanders chairman Kenneth Mhlophe, vice-chairman Fiso Siziba, and treasurer Nkani Khoza, who died in a road accident on the Harare-Bulawayo Road. Zifa described the tragedy as an immeasurable loss to Highlanders Football Club, the city of Bulawayo, and the wider Zimbabwean football community. The association highlighted their unwavering commitment and selfless service to one of the country's iconic football institutions. Zifa president Nqobile Magwizi stated that Zimbabwean football has lost three dedicated administrators whose service shaped the club's legacy. The loss is particularly painful as it occurs during Highlanders' centenary celebrations. Zifa extended condolences to the families of the deceased, the Highlanders executive committee, players, technical team, members, and supporters.
