Ceuta's president calls for aid as 1,100 unaccompanied minors strain reception centers

These minors arrived in Ceuta following the illegal entry of over 70,000 migrants last week. Vivas reported that the occupancy rate of Ceuta's reception centers for minors is 2,600% above their critical capacity, leading to very precarious conditions. He warned that Ceuta has "no additional space" to accommodate these minors, despite their care being a "priority."

Spanish police have registered 528 children, redirecting them to reception centers.
