
Ghana School of Law's top graduate Latifa Teiya Fuseini admitted to Harvard Law School
Latifa Teiya Fuseini, the Overall Best Graduating Student of the Ghana School of Law's Class of 2025, has been admitted to Harvard Law School. Fuseini was recognized as the top graduating student among 824 candidates called to the Ghanaian Bar in 2025. Her performance at the Ghana School of Law earned her the John Mensah Sarbah Memorial Prize, the institution's highest honor for the best all-round student, and the award for Best Student in Conveyancing and Drafting. Before this, she graduated with First Class Honours from the Faculty of Law at the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology in 2023. Fuseini, daughter of former Member of Parliament for the Sagnarigu Constituency Alhaji A B A Fuseini, aims to challenge the limited representation of Muslim Dagomba women in the legal profession and inspire young women from Northern Ghana to pursue professional careers.
