Algeria concluded its participation in the Taranto 2026 Mediterranean Games, securing a total of 40 medals, placing the nation ninth in the overall standings. The medal haul included 13 gold, 8 silver, and 19 bronze medals. This achievement marks Algeria's best performance outside its national territory in the history of the Mediterranean Games.
