Mohamed Ali Nafti to attend OIC extraordinary meeting in Jeddah on Palestine
Mohamed Ali Nafti, the Minister of Foreign Affairs, will participate in an extraordinary meeting of the Council of Foreign Ministers of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation OIC member states in Jeddah on Thursday, August 27, 2026. The meeting, held at the OIC General Secretariat headquarters, will focus on recent developments concerning the Palestinian issue. Participants aim to establish a common Arab and Islamic stance, particularly regarding the ongoing repressive policies by the occupation authorities in Al-Quds. The election of the new OIC Secretary General will also be discussed. During his visit to Jeddah, Mohamed Ali Nafti will hold bilateral meetings with several Arab and Muslim counterparts to discuss bilateral cooperation, OIC agenda items, and ways to strengthen cooperation among member states in addressing current challenges.
