Akdital welcomes major pan-Arab investment fund into its international holding company

This investment is part of Akdital's international expansion strategy, specifically aiming to finance its development in Saudi Arabia. Akdital will contribute its expertise in the development, management, and operation of healthcare facilities, while Arab Invest, a financial institution owned by sixteen Arab countries, will provide investment capabilities, regional presence, and its network. Akdital is currently developing four hospital projects in Saudi Arabia: two in Riyadh, one in Mecca, and one in Jeddah.

The group recently signed an agreement for the development, equipping, and management of Aladwani Hospital in Jeddah, which will have a capacity of up to 120 beds. This project will bring the number of facilities managed by Akdital in Saudi Arabia to four. Akdital aims to establish an international network of over 2,000 beds by 2030 and is also exploring expansion opportunities in other regional markets.

Abdullah Ben Saleh Bakhribah, Director General of Arab Invest, stated that this investment aligns with the institution's focus on opportunities with economic and social impact, aiming to develop a regional investment platform in the healthcare sector through this partnership.
