Varun Beverages to distribute Carlsberg Pilsner in Zimbabwe
Beverages and snacks manufacturer Varun Beverages Ltd has expanded its product offerings to include alcoholic beverages after securing an agreement to trade, sell, and distribute the Danish beer brand Carlsberg Pilsner in Zimbabwe. Carlsberg Group is a leading global brewing entity with over 180 brands. Vijay Bahl, Varun Beverages’ Zimbabwe chief executive officer, stated that the company plans to utilize its existing distribution channels to support the beer brand's entry into the local market.
