Adil Ramzi appointed assistant coach for the Netherlands national team

He will work alongside head coach Xavi Hernandez, whose coaching team also includes Sergio Alegre, Óscar Hernández, and Ruud van Nistelrooy as assistant coaches. Patrick Lodewijks returns as goalkeeper coach, and Iván Torres will serve as performance coach. Ramzi's appointment follows his previous roles as head coach for the Netherlands U18 and U19 teams in 2024 and 2025, respectively.

Before that, he was an assistant coach for PSV Eindhoven's first team and head coach for their reserve team, Jong PSV. As a player, Ramzi played for Dutch clubs PSV, AZ Alkmaar, and FC Twente, and earned 37 caps for Morocco. Xavi Hernandez was appointed head coach last week, signing a contract until 2030.
